HONG KONG, May, 10th. The Chinese Government,

last Friday, launched a torpedo boat at the Kowloon

Dock, it was learned to-day. When she is ready for

service, the ship will undertake defence of the Pearl

River.

Two more torpedo boats are being rushed to

completion here, it is also learned.
